Paul has been a Licensed Vocational Nurse since 1993, working primarily in emergency rooms, and on medical surgical units during that time. In all those years, he never saw anything more destructive and powerful than the disease of addiction. We share Paul’s respect for the disease and are thrilled to welcome to the Axis team. Since beginning his own journey in recovery back in 2008, Paul has found his calling working in the field of chemical dependency. He takes particular joy in watching “the lights come on” in a person while they are in treatment. As Paul knows better than most, no other field of medicine can offer such a gratifying experience.
