Shalyce “Shay” Likens, MA, LMFT

Shay received her bachelor’s degree from UCLA and her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist who practiced psychotherapy throughout Southern California for 6 years before joining the Axis East clinical staff. Shay specializes in the field of addiction and is also a certified domestic violence counselor. Her extensive background includes somatic experiencing therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavioral analysis, solution focused therapy, mindfulness-based practice and play therapy. Shay is proud to call upon her wide-ranging experience to her work in recovery with our clients at Axis East.
